The Kenya Animal Biosurveillance System (KABS) is a lightweight mobile data collection application supporting disease surveillance programs within Kenya. KABS supports an extended goal of emplacing a full-featured syndromic surveillance system that leverages a mobile-based data collection and web-based reporting system for improved animal and human disease monitoring and detection.
