Unlike traditional satnavs or navigation apps iVMS communicates directly with the Coventry traffic network so its route guidance is based upon accurate and up-to-date information. The communication between the app and traffic network is two-way; by scheduling your journeys the traffic network gains knowledge of who wants to travel where and when and will try to balance the traffic across the network.
