Zakwe released his latest mixtape titled: STREET MUSIC, which is a hot double disc (Headlines + Redtape and a few remixes in one package). The mixtape has made a huge impact in the underground scene as two of his tracks within the tape entered in Hype Sessions and received massive airplay.

This Kasi rapper is seriously on the move and with his experience and hard working team; it is not doubtable that he will deliver for the long awaiting masses.

Having worked hard in 2010, promoting his mixtape and featuring on Zuluboy’s album ‘iGoda’, Zakwe has definitely earned his stripes and street cred in his hometown of Durban – and a stamp saying ‘the streets have recognized that the soldier is most definitely ready for war’.

His feature on Zuluboy’s latest track ‘Zobe Zisho’, earned Zakwe a recording and artist management contract with Native Rhythms. Now, Zakwe’s long-anticipated album will soon hit the shelves at the end of the first half of this year, as he is due to commence recording at the Native Rhythms studio end of Febuary.
