She is the fifth in a family of seven children. After a childhood in different places according to the assignments of his father, police commissioner, his family moved to Lagos as a teenager2. "I grew up listening to everything from Sunny Adé juju music to Whitney Houston," she says. She studied and pursued graduate studies in geography at the University of Lagos4.
