Asta is a character in an anime story of an orphan who grew up together after being abandoned in a church on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Clover at the same time. In a world where everyone has magic power, Asta is the only person born without this power. This makes him to train physically to cover up his shortcomings. On the contrary, Yuno was born as a gifted child with great magic power. When they were 15 years old, Asta and Yuno were given the ability to become magicians known as Magic Knights by accepting grimoire. Yuno got the wind elemental grimoire previously owned by the first Witch King, while Asta didn't get it. However, when a thief paralyzes Yuno to steal and sell his grimoire on the black market, Asta gets a grimoire, containing rare and mysterious powers, Anti Magic (which allows him to cancel all magic effects).
