- Rendering engine completely rewritten from scratch, in C++ and using OpenGL ES 2

Please note that I'm pretty aware of some blatant gameplay and UI tweaks needed by the game (with many more sprouting by this update), but this is a much needed first step towards the modernization of a already ancient codebase. The next release will start to bring the requested featured.
