It actively works on various innovations in promoting culture and serving the community. TARA also maintains good cultural balance and healthy community relationships by organizing cultural festivals and community events. TARA actively supports humanitarian charity organizations and aims to support other charity organizations in the India.

TARA was founded in 2005 with an aim to provide a common platform to the local community in the County of Berkshire for sharing information and to meet and great on festive occasions. With the rise in IT opportunities, Berkshire has seen an influx of Indian IT professional families and subsequently TARA has grown as one of the largest Telugu community group in the UK. Since its formation in 2005, TARA has organized Ugadi, Diwali Celebrations and Summer Family Sports events every year.
