The SurveillanceWatch app allows users to collect data about video surveillance cameras that surveil public spaces. This app is intended to watch surveillance, hence the name SurveillanceWatch.

This app is part of a research project at the University of Toronto.

One of the goals is to determine how many installations are complying with the requirements by law around such video surveillance installations.
