SmartCity is a totally Free Application for Urban Local Governments including Municipal Corporations, Municipalities & Nagar Panchayats. This app has already been implemented for different cities including Durg Municipal Corporation, Bilaspur Municipal Corporation etc.

A unique example of e-governance, this app provides a platform to the citizens to avail the services of their respective municipal governments. It increases the participation of common public in the day to day functioning of the city. Citizens can register their grievances in a much simpler mode and track the same through this app. Lots of other citizen services and rental offerings by the local governments can be used and monitored through this app. SmartCity App can also serve as a medium of communication between the municipal governments and the citizens.

The modules and services covered in this app are:

1. City Info Module: About City Office, Mayor, Commissioner, key officers etc along with the upcoming Events, health camps, tenders, notices etc

2. Grievance Module: Covering services for Garden Department , Stray Animals, Hoardings, Road Repairs, Encroachment, Water Supply, Solid Waste Management, Street Light etc. Citizens can simply take pictures and submit their grievances though a highly interactive navigation. This module is also integrated with GPS for auto location tracking of the issue reported.

3. Social Connect: Connects the citizens with the city’s official pages at Facebook, Twitter, Youtube etc. Also connect to website and helps to refer it to a friend.

4. Citizen Services: Payment of Property tax, water tax, professional tax etc and application for a trade / gumashta license from the city office.

5. Rental Services: Citizens can directly apply & book the community halls, gardens, grounds, stadiums etc. Booking of water tanker can also be done.

6. Office Desk: Different monitoring activities by the office including TL cases, Legal cases, Attendance monitoring, verification and approval of various forms etc.
