It is innovated to help women feel more safe and secure in public spaces.

This application was ideated by Ms. BUN Rachana who was awarded the VXW Award.

In partnership with The Asia Foundation and Golden Gekko, the United Kingdom’s Department for International Development-funded VXW Award gives activists exclusive access to world class quality design, facilitation, and developer support to build, use and scale mobile technology solutions to end violence against women in Cambodia.

Rachana was chosen for her commitment to finding new solutions to ending violence against women, being a creative problem solver capable of engineering her vision in reality, and having entrepreneurial qualities to see opportunities for change and innovation.

Rachana is committed to making Cambodian women and girls feel safe and secure in public spaces and be able to express themselves, demand gender responsive public services, and claim their rights in the city.
