‘Squid Game’ tells the story of hundreds of people who risk their lives in a survival game

Squid Game is an upcoming eight-episode South Korean drama series that is sets to premiere on September 17 on Netflix.

In Squid Game, 456 cash-strapped people who have struggled in life are invited to play a mysterious survival game. They have no choice but to risk their lives to compete in a series of traditional children’s games with a 45.6 billion won (US$40 million) prize.
