Ping google.com or your router IP address to verify you have connection.

Often it seems that your phone have internet connection but in reality, you can't connect. This application allows to ping google.com or your local router to verify whether you really have internet connectivity.

Pinging google.com successfully verifies the internet connectivity, however in some cases you want to ping your local gateway/router to verify that the wireless link is up. Successfully pinging local router proves that the wireless link is up, however it doesn't mean that the internet is indeed accessible because connection may be broken further up the chain.
