In December of 2012 NSA Panama City was named “Best Base” in Navy, winning the 2012 CNIC Installation Excellence Award (small installation category). NSA Panama City carries out its mission “We exist to enable and sustain warfighter readiness” on 657 acres located on the Florida Panhandle near the warm emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
