If you use the physical power button of your phone to lock the phone frequently, the power button may get damaged over time. On the other hand, if you leave your screen ON until the auto-lock mechanism kicks in, you are wasting valuable battery. Screen takes the highest share among the battery usage. So it is very important to use a soft key to lock your phone screen without using the physical power button always. This app exactly does the same thing.

Once installed, just tap on the app icon. Your phone will be instantly locked 😀 It is as simple as that. There is no Ads in this app, no purchase is necessary. Unlike many other apps, there is no background process or background monitoring here. So no battery draining or RAM jamming. Lock My Phone only locks your phone and it then immediately kills itself. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and nothing extra 👌

I made this app for my own use after the power button of my old phone stopped working. Once I found it useful, I thought of uploading this build into Play Store for everyone's use 👍

To make it even more helpful after install, create a shortcut of the app on your home screen. Then just tap & lock.

When you first install this app, it will ask you to enable Device Admin Access for this app. Without this access, no app can lock the screen on your behalf. Within Device Admin Access, there are multiple access levels that you can grant. This app requests only for the Lock Screen permission, nothing else. You can safely allow this access. Lock My Phone will not work unless this access is granted.

How to uninstall: Because this app is given Device Admin Access, in order to uninstall the app, you will need to first remove the Device Admin Access. Please go to your phone's settings. Then search for Device Admin Access. From the list of apps, remove Lock My Phone so that it does not have Device Admin Access anymore. Then simply uninstall the app. It will smoothly uninstall.
