The original game, Life Strge, developed Byz, aims to revolutionize selection-based games by allowing the player to manipulate time. The protagonist is Maxine C, a senior photography photographer who discovers that she can manipulate the time after rewinding her to save her old friend, Chloe Price. As Max uses her new abilities and talks about a storm coming to ARca Bay, she and Chloe try to figure out what happened to Rachel A, who mysteriously disappeared. A movie before the storm, developed by Deck N Games, was set up three years ago and tells the story of Chloe and Rachel's friendship.

Max , student at Blackwell Academy in Arc Bay, Oregon, discovers she can rewind time. The episode revolves around her testing her power and reuniting with her old best friend, Chloe . The pair set out to find out more about the disappearance of Rachel Amber, the harassment of Kate Marsh and the drug schemes of Nathan Pre. The friendship between Max and Chloe is put to the test as Max debates whether to reveal her rewind power. Can they save Arcadia Bay from destruction at the hands of the oncoming tornado?
