basic karate techniques such as hitting, kicking and parrying techniques

One of the most popular and popular martial arts in Indonesia is karate, in addition to basic Judo techniques and kempo techniques, the basic techniques of karate are the ones most people want to learn. The development of karate itself occurred in the Ryukyu Islands after being taken through Okinawa to Japan.

Initially, there was no term karate because this martial art actually had the title Tote or meaning Chinese Hand and after entering Japan, the Okinawa starch was replaced by Gichin Funakoshi's Sensei into Japanese kanji into karate. In any martial arts, there are always basic movement techniques such as basic taekwondo techniques and aikido techniques.

Kihon, Kumite and Kata For this one basic technique in karate, it literally has a foundation meaning and that means, every karatedo needs to master Kihon perfectly before finally being able to recognize and learn the Word and Kumite.

In general, training for the Kihon technique begins with learning the kicking and hitting movements that we know with the white belt stage and the slamming movements on the brown hoe. When karatedo is in the stage and / or black belt, then this means that karatedo has succeeded in controlling all Kihon.

This word is the next basic technique in karate which is literally a form or pattern and in karate, the word is not just a physical or aerobic training that many people suspect. But more than that, there are lessons about the fighting principles contained in the basic techniques of this word.

There are contained philosophies of life also in many movements of the Word and there is a rhythm of movement and breathing that are not the same between each other in each Word. There is the term Bunkai in the word where it is an application that can be used from the basic movement of the word itself.

For each word, each stream has different movements and names. Take for example, the word Tekki that is in the Shotokan school, better known as Naihanchi, which is in the Shito Ryu school and this is what influences the Bunkai in each stream to be different from one another.

Kumite Hand meeting is the literal meaning of this Kumite and usually this technique is carried out especially by karatedo who are already advanced, such as blue belts or more. However, today there are dojos who have offered Kumite teaching / training to yellow belt practitioners or who are still at the beginner level.

The Kumite Go Hon or the arranged Kumite is the first one studied by karatedos before committing free Kumite or Jiyu Kumite.
