Bobby Willem Tutupoly (born in Surabaya, East Java, 13 November 1939; age 76 years) is an Indonesian artist is better known by the name of Bob Tutupoly. He began recording in Jakarta in 1965 along with Pattie Brothers. Furthermore, he is known for songs "Tongue Reinforced Tak", "No I'm sorry You", "High Gunung Seribu Janji", and others. [1]

But he was more interested in singing. Eventually he joined Bill Saragih at The Jazz band Riders in 1960.

In 1969 he went to the United States and lead a restaurant owned by Pertamina in the city of New York. After returning to Indonesia in 1977, he became popular for a rendition of "Thistle", Slamet Adriyadi creation, that became very popular to this day. [2] He also guides quiz show on TVRI.
