There's nothing extra fancy with this Android application and, following the Unix philosophy, it serves a single purpose: to turn on your device's camera light at full power. This flashlight torch is very bright! And did I mention this app is FREE?! It's an illuminating experience. ;)

Full permissions disclosure: In order to access the camera light on your Android device, this app has to request "Camera" permissions. The ONLY function this application performs is turning the light on and off - nothing else. There are not any bundled third-party applications, APK's, advertisements or plugins and there never will be.

This free flashlight torch application will work on any Android 4.x+ (API 14+) device with a camera that has some kind of flash hardware (do I have to state the obvious and say that it's not going to work on a phone or tablet that does not have a flash?). I've personally tested the app myself on the following physical devices:

Safety Information: This flashlight torch application has one setting - super, crazy, intense, white-dwarf, retina-searing bright! Please do not look directly into the light or point the light directly at someone else. I'm not a doctor but I play one on TV and I'm telling you this sucker is bright enough to illuminate dark matter!
