The Ford Puma is based on the 7th Generation Fiesta Platform. The new Ford Puma is based on the current supermini, Fiesta, sharing its existing chassis and engines, entering a market overflowing with choices. While it is not available in North American markets, the new Ford Puma, a crossover-styled, subcompact SUV, has sold respectably well, even earning some plaudits for the new Ford Puma. The current Puma SUV is located between the EcoSport and the Kuga in the Ford SUV range. Although based on the Fords Fiesta platform, it feels significantly more prominent thanks to a sporty crossover-like attitude and a boot that is roomier than the Ford Fiesta Hatchback.
