WHY: FeelJoy is a well-being consultancy that has been designed to empower clients to improve their emotional wellness and overall well-being.This service is for individuals who are facing coping difficulties in everyday life, or need someone to talk to, anonymous,or confused about therapy. You will be trained by us for supporting mental health concerns of clients and educate them about all the available mental health services to help them find a suitable mental health services provider according to their needs.

WHAT: You will work as facilitators for personal functioning and growth of clients, and support clients online through a chat service, which is not to be confused with counselling or providing any professional guidance. They would only be a support system for clients to vent their bottled up feeling, thoughts and emotions to express themselves, gain support, let go of anger, sadness or frustration or simply to clear their conscience. The listener ecosystem is the first step for seeking professional advice for mental health issues by clients who are confused about therapy, they will be recommended a wide range of services available as per their requirements. The services by FeelJoy is free for the time being.

WHERE: It is currently available all over India, and can be accessed through any computer, phone (by downloading the Application). We aim to spread across to as many countries as we can, since people always need someone to share their life story with. FeelJoy can be accessed anytime, but since we are a human company, each listener would be given a minimum 6 hours to respond. FeelJoy works all days through the year.

HOW: Keep yourself anonymous, use our application on your mobile device in your comfort zone and privacy. Our chat service is end to end encrypted and your data is completely anonymized and safe. Through FeelJoy, each client would also have access to articles and blogs by clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists, career psychologists, organizational psychologists, social psychologists, child psychologists and psychiatrists to learn about positive mental health and improving self-awareness. FeelJoy aims to spread awareness about various mental health issues and how people can cope with them effectively.

Disclaimer:

This ecosystem is transitions from listening services to counselling/professional service. Extreme cases are in any case not dealt by FeelJoy, such as emergencies, suicidal tendencies or major psychiatric illness. We remain neutral to such cases and forward them contact details of relevant services in that domain.

Buddy: A minimum commitment of 6 months is needed for enrolment and you would be trained and tested on basic listening and empathy skills before being on-boarded as a listener. You would be given a certificate upon completion of the required number of hours, apart from the professional advice, training and experience you gain while working with FeelJoy. While interacting with clients, you would also be given opportunities to work in the area of content development, marketing, research, and spreading awareness about the importance of mental health and its impact on everyday functioning.
