With this app, hopefully, the shopping trips will be reduced from an aimless search for items to an exact trip where the path between the items has been optimized to a close minimum with regard to walking distance.

You define yourself which shop categories you want to group items in and which items you intend to buy.

To be able to utilize the app's capacity to calculate a close approximation to the optimal path (with respect to walking distance), the position of each item must first be determined for each new shop. This is of course also done in the app.

In order to prevent the "wheel being invented" more than once, you can also share your "position established shopping lists" with your friends by exporting "shopping lists data" (read position data) and for example sending these by mail.

When a new shop is added, the positions of both its entrance and cash register must be determined. This is done by clicking on the their respective "red markers" when you are on the their respective locations.

Analogously, each "non-positioned determined item" on the shopping list must also be determined. That is, when you are at the location of the item, click on its "red marker".

Note that each position determination takes a few seconds. In an attempt to increase the accuracy of positions, it is possible to choose how many position readings are to be used to create a median value so as to try to create a more precise position. Note that this only MIGHT improve the accuracy but will ABSOLUTELY affect the "position determination time".

Be patient, these "position determinations" are done only once.

The next time you shop "position determined items" in the store click on "the shoe imprint button" and you will avoid this wait and can immediately get an "optimal" sorted shopping list and path description of where the items are located and how you execute your "shopping trip" in the shortest amount of time.
