bombastic, a new application that blends reality and game.

bombastic is a real time, massively multiplayer, location aware arcade game.

Join the game, invite your friends and start playing! You can join the game using your Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus account, or you can also register your own account in bombastic. Social login is recommended since it will allow you to earn additional credits by inviting your friends.

Once you are in, take a look at the map and locate nearby players. The map view (2D) will show the current location of all the players in the game. The augmented reality view (3D) will help you find, track and follow fellow players.

Locate unsuspected players, drop a bomb and run away! Exploding a bomb gives credits to the player dropping the bomb and subtracts credits from the players close to the bomb at the time of the explosion. The objective of the game is to earn as many credits as possible by dropping bombs close to other players. Credits are exchangeable for items in the game.

If you happen to run out of credits you can either purchase more in the in-game store or invite your friends to the game and receive a bonus for each friend you invite and also an additional bonus for each friend that actually joins bombastic. This option is only available only for players joining the game through Facebook and Twitter.
