WHEREAS it is expedient to consolidate and amend the laws relating to the procedure of the Courts of Civil Judicature; It is hereby enacted as follows:-

This Act may be cited as the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.It shall come into force on the first day of January, and 1909.It extends to the whole of Bangladesh. A law practitioner should know the following matter; What is law? Where is law? How to find out the law? Where you should go to find out the better remedy? How to read the law?
