My app was mostly inspired by the comedic book “How to know if your cat is trying to kill you” as well as a conversation I had with my older brother. Like the title may suggest the book taught people the signs that they should look for in order to know if their cat is going to kill them, but of course it’s not really supposed to be taken that seriously. Now I myself don’t have a cat but during a conversation with my older brother about this assignment, he threw out an idea as a joke that would tell a person whether he was an asshole or not. Jokes on him I took it seriously. I wanted to make this app to work in a similar manner that in turn would skip the entire process of looking for signs yourself and just tell you whether a person is an asshole or not. Also as an extra function that I added, maybe in an act of frustration people would like move their phone in some form, so I wanted to set that as the way people would reset the app. It is not anything serious, I just thought it’d be something sort of humorous.
