Anas Al-Emadi

Anas bin Issa Al-Emadi is a Bahraini Quran reciter and imam of the Ali bin Jabr Al Thani Mosque in the city of Hidd. He was born in 1403 AH - 1983 AD, married with a son and a daughter, and holds a bachelor’s degree at the College of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language in Dubai.

Learn the Qur’an

He began memorizing and learning the Holy Qur’an in 1988 AD, in the main branch of the Abdullah bin Masoud Center for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an in the city of Hidd, where he studied under the reciter Abdul Halim Mahmoud and the reciter Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Mannai. Then he moved to the Jabr Al-Muslim Mosque branch in 1999 AD and continued his education with Sheikh Adel. For a long time, he contributed to teaching students in addition to his studies, and in the year 2001 AD, he left for the United Arab Emirates to study Sharia at the College of Islamic and Arab Studies, and there he read the Qur’an and obtained the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim from Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Shaqroun from Algeria, and in the year 2005 AD He finished his university studies and returned to Bahrain, and after that he read the Qur’an to Umm Al-Saad Ali Najm, the sheikha of Alexandria readers, and obtained from it the narration of Hafs on the authority of Asim via “Al-Shatibiyyah” and the “Al-Tayyiba” route, and also the narration of Shu’bah on the authority of Asim, and that was in Bahrain.

Quranic competitions and posts

2002 AD: He won first place in 20 parts in the Great Bahrain Competition.

2003 AD: He won fifth place in the entire Holy Quran in the Dubai International Competition, out of 60 participating countries.

Also in 2003: He won first place in the entire Holy Quran in the Great Bahrain Competition.

In 2004 AD: He won first place in the entire Holy Quran in the Syed Junaid Alam competition, among the GCC countries.
