In accordance with the name of the book, the author tries to provide a broader explanation of the laws of fiqh from the book of fiqh, which has a more concise explanation.

In his book al-Iqna fi Halli Alfadz Abi Syuja', he explains about Friday. He stated about almsgiving on Friday.

It is advisable to increase alms and good deeds on Friday or Friday night. Increase the blessings on the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam on Friday night or afternoon. The book of Iqna' itself is a small explanatory book on fiqh which is often known as the book of Taqrib, written by Shaykh Abi Syuja'. Like the original book, this book is certainly not much different in its contents. Namely includes discussion of Ubudiyyah, Munakahah, Mu'amlah, and Jinayah.

Of course, the discussion is very broad, complemented by various arguments, both naqli (Al-Qur'an & Hadith) and aqli arguments (rationality). What distinguishes it is the explanation and elaboration, even to the point where it is divided into 3 Juz. This book contains about 1700 pages.

In juz 1 the author thoroughly discusses Thoharoh (purification) & prayer.

Then in juz 2 begins a discussion of Zakat and ends with the chapter on Marriage.

Furthermore, in juz 3 it begins with a discussion of Criminal Law and closes with the ithqi chapter (Freedom of slaves).

"Al-Iqna' is a book of Jurisprudence with the Ash-Shafi'i school of thought which is the syarah for the book "Matan Abu Syuja'". In terms of its position as syarah, its position is like the book "Fathu Al-Qorib" by Ibn Al-Ghorobili/Ibnu Qosim Al-Ghozzi, "Kifayatu Al-Akhyar" by Al-Hishni, "Tuhfatu Al-Labib" by Ibn Daqiqi Al-' Id, "An-Nihayah" by Waliyyuddion Al-Bashir and the like. It's just that the book "Al-Iqna'" can be classified as a long syarah ("muthowwal") although it is also not too lengthy. The book "Al-Iqna'" is not as concise as "Fathu Al-Qorib" or middle like "Kifayatu Al-Akhyar". Al-Ghozzi called it "syarhun muthowwalun hafil".

The motivation for writing "Al-Iqna'" was at the request of Asy-Syirbini's friends and students who often studied science with him. Asy-Syirbini was asked to be willing to make a syarah for "Matan Abu Syuja'" which can parse difficult and vague expressions, accompanied by an explanation of "fawaid fiqhiyyah", an explanation of ushul fiqh, and a discussion of actual fiqh questions as written by Asy-Syirbini Syirbini in the syarah "At-Tanbih", syarah "Minhaj Ath-Tholibin" and syarah "Al-Bahjah". After Ash-Syirbini prayed for a while and prayed near the tomb of Imam Ash-Syafi'i and felt that his chest had become more spacious, then he began to write "Al-Iqna'".
