Based on the narrated hadiths, there are forty-four names of RA companions who have conveyed to us the hadiths about Imam Mahdi, as they have ever heard from the Prophet himself. Some narrated a hadith and many also narrated some of the hadiths about the Imam Mahdi from the Messenger of Allah.

This can be clearly seen if we diligently study and refine the words of these RA companions, without hurting them.
