Istanbul Modern is the first private modern art museum in Turkey.

The redesigned Istanbul Modern Mobile App allows you to access the museum’s exhibitions, events, cinema, educational programs and other activities on your mobile at any time. This new app also offers an interactive museum experience with the brand-new iBeacon technology.

iBeacon offers two interactive exhibition tours of works from the museum’s current collection exhibition, “Artists in Their Time”. The individual tour presents texts, visuals and videos on an information screen. Aimed at children and parents, the family tour offers a plain narrative on specific works and games aimed at delivering a comprehensive understanding. To use this feature, simply download and open the latest Istanbul Modern app and turn on the Bluetooth feature of your smartphone.
