The series of puzzles which make up the eight zones of Human Fall Flat are not so much a trial for the intellect as they are playgrounds for exercising your command of the game’s controls. Your character waddles around as though their skeletal system were made of jelly, rendering them prone to stumbles, tumbles and any other synonym you can find for “falling over” in the thesaurus.

Whether that’s from too many nights of beer and pizza we’ll never know, but if you’re expecting a miracle man, don’t. He’s no hero, he has no superpowers, he’s just your regular, every-day, kind of gooey-looking guy, who’s also a builder.

Conclusion:

Human Fall Flat has some issues, but it’s one of the few games I’ve played recently where it weaves into the gameplay in rather enjoyable ways. This works even better with other people, making me realize why the game has gotten so much online publicity. It doesn’t thrive off of one gimmick, and is successful and captivating because of that.
