The construction workers' holiday and severance pay fund (BUAK) receives weather-specific data for every postal code in Austria from Geosphere Austria.

With the updated “Heat App” from the Bau-Holz Union (GBH), you will have direct access to this temperature query from August 1, 2024, which is necessary for the award of bad weather support in accordance with Section 1 Paragraph 1 of the Construction Workers' Bad Weather Compensation Act 1957 (BSchEG ) represents the legally relevant temperature.

A debate as to whether the 32.5 degrees Celsius on the construction site was actually reached according to the BSchEG in order to stop work if necessary with bad weather support is now a thing of the past!
