Hired For One Day

Hired For One Day tries to simulate a day of a young working professional.

"Hired For One Day" tries to simulate a day of a working professional.

The day starts at waking up time till the end of the working day.

This is when you find out whether you are hired or fired depending on your stress and performance level.

At each stage of preparing to go to work, you will have to move the white ball through the maze, at the same time. Avoid being hit by the red problem balls.

If you manage to reach the workplace, you must correctly answer 8 out of 10 questions from the profession you selected to get"hired".

The maze

The maze is made up of walls and corridors.The walls are black and the corridors are blue in color.

The path is traced through the corridors of the maze. It may not be the same each time you play.

The walls are blocked,you cannot move the white ball through them.

The path

The path starts from the upper row where the white ball will be positioned and ends at the white square

on the right at the bottom row of the maze.Use the buttons below the maze to move the white

ball to find the path.

The white Ball

The white ball is the one you have to move to find the path.

It is positioned in the first square of the upper row of the maze.

It's movements are traced by the green color. It will not cross the black lines. To move the white ball press the:

(Up) button to move the white ball up

(Down) button to move it down

(Right) button to move it to the right

(Left) button to move it to the left

Pressing the buttons will not move the ball across the black walls.

The red balls

There are many red balls moving up, down and across the maze.

You need to avoid these balls to hit the white ball.If the white ball is hit by one of the red balls, a random problem is generated and a tutorial on that problem is given. The stress level will go up and the increment will depend on the magnitude of the problem generated.

The Stress level

The stress level will go up by 8 if the problem generated is considered to be very dangerous.It will go up by 5 if the problem generated is considered a danger. It will go up by 1 if the problem is just a setback. If the stress level is over 9 before you start answering questions, the program will terminate. If you give a wrong answer to a question, the stress level will go up.

If you give a correct answer to a question,the stress level will go down.

You will be fired if the stress level is over 9.

The performance level

If you answer a question correctly, the performance level will go up.You will be fired if the performance level is below 8.
