Even though only Allah knows the true secrets and wisdom of every law and obligation, of course (once again) we are sure that behind all of this there is goodness and benefit for us, both worldly and spiritual.

The provision of worship itself is actually one of the means used by Allah to shower His love on His servants. That every virtue of worship that is given to Muslims will definitely return to the worshiper himself. However, learning from the story of Abdullah bin Amr bin Ash above, Allah does not want to burden His servants with these religious duties. On the contrary, He wants the virtues of worship contained in it to return to His servants without making the servants feel tired.

The Book of Wisdom al-Tasyri' wa Falsafatuhu by Sheikh Ali Ahmad al-Jurjawi.
