Hamkam (HamKam or HamKam registered trademark; other names are offspring of this brand) was established in 1918 and is Hamar's foremost football. Head coach Kevin button. The team plays its home games at Briskeby turf, and supporters' club has the name Briskeby gang.

In 1969 won promotion for the first time up to the Norwegian football's highest level, and achieved the following year's biggest sporting achievement when the team debuted with the bronze medal in the series.
