Hamdard Grammar School draws inspiration from the global chain of illustrious Grammar Schools. Established in 2006 at Tral, Hamdard is the introductory Grammar School in Kashmir Valley. The school aspires to strengthen the foundations of elementary education. Recognized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education and Department of School Education, the school started its journey with a pledge to quality education based on psychological, philosophical and sociological foundations irrespective of any religious or caste discrimination. Over a period of more than a decade, the school has registered its rank among the best and most prominent schools in the region. The annual results at the JKBOSE or cluster level or performances of children in co-curricular or extra-curricular activities have given a pride of place to the school. Hamdard Grammar School is established on sprawling premises where students breathe freely in soothing healthy environs. A three-storey spacious building with airy classrooms, standard science and computers labs, appropriately spacious library and related facilities is a prominent part of infrastructure developed as required under rules laid down by the government. The building, its design and other trappings inclduing a large fleet of buses, are a statement in itself. The school is managed by a team of persons committed to foster academic excellence based on professional standards.
