"Hüpper: our new on-demand transport service complements the local public transport offer - easy to book via APP

At the start of the offer, the Hüpper drives in a specified operating area within Hürth. This extends to the districts of Knapsack, Stotzheim and Sielsdorf, which are connected by the Hüpper with the stops of the tram line 18 (with the exception of Kiebitzweg), the Kalscheuren train station and the bus station (Hürth Mitte / ZOB). In addition, the cemetery in Efferen is served during its opening times. Journeys between or within the three parts of the city are also possible, provided that the minimum distance from start to finish is 700 meters.

An intelligent background system creates meaningful car pools from the bookings.

Our modern electric London Cabs offer space for up to six people and, in addition to being equipped with USB charging stations, have a high level of seating comfort, a panoramic roof, an extendable ramp and a means of securing e.g. a wheelchair.

Get to your destination - with a maximum of 30 minutes waiting time and a 200 m walk to your Hüpper stop. Together with the simple booking options, the Hüpper shuttle service is a useful addition to local public transport in Hürth.

And that is how it works:

1.) Booking via APP

2.) Register once for your first journey directly in the APP or on the homepage

3.) Specify start and destination

4.) Specify number:

Mobility aids - wheelchair, rollator, stroller

Luggage - suitcases, bags that are larger than hand luggage

5.) Pay directly in the APP (currently still in preparation) or in cash with the driver.

Single and 4-person tickets can be validated by the driver. Alternatively, use the mobile phone ticket in the RVK or VRS APP. The normal VRS tariff applies, including subscription and JobTicket regulations

6.) Done - your route and time are calculated.

You will be informed immediately of your departure time and stop, the license plate number of the vehicle, the name of the driver as well as the arrival time and any passengers

The Hüpper is in use around the clock: Every working day from Monday to Friday between

6 a.m. and 10 p.m. by the Hüpper vehicles, the rest of the time via a local taxi company.
