GRT TXT is a map utility app to see all GRT bus stops and quickly send SMS messages for bus times.

How to Use:

When you open the app, you are presented with a map of all available GRT bus stops as red markers. You can tap any of the markers to see the GRT bus stop ID and name. You can tap ta button and it will instantly send an SMS message to GRT (#57555) with the bus stop ID, requesting the next bus times for that stop.

Purpose:

This app was strictly made for educational purposes by students of the University of Waterloo for a course project.

Disclaimer:

We do not take responsibility for incorrect bus stop IDs shown on the map, or any incorrect bus times sent to you from GRT's Next Bus Test Messaging service.

Data: The data for the bus stops was gathered from the Waterloo Open Data portal.
