Tool to create real Easter egg hunts or treasure hunts and search using GPS

GPS Egg Hunt is a tool to help you create exciting real treasure or Easter egg hunts to share with your family, friends or group in your garden or in a local park; anywhere outside where you can use the GPS on your device. The same app is used by the hunter to search for their treasure/eggs.

Take photos of your eggs and take your device with you when you hide them. At each location, store the egg name, an optional clue and the egg photo. When you have hidden all your eggs, create the hunt with a name and an optional 10 second preview so that the hunter can see the locations briefly before they begin. No account is needed for GPS Egg Hunt. Your first hunt is created free; after that you pay a small amount per hunt stored.

After storing your hunt you get a code. You give this code to the treasure hunter or egg hunter who uses it to access their own personal egg hunt using their own device with GPS Egg Hunt installed. The hunter sees their location on a Google Map which also displays proximity, shows the hunter clues and displays located treasure or eggs.
