Gotcha Balaton is a real life elimination game organized by Festival Explorers and JEKA, specifically for Belgian visitors of Balaton Sound 2018. Push your festival experience to the next level with this game, and win your complete next trip to the Balaton festival! Use this application to subscribe to the game, check practical information during the festival and stay up-to-date for last-minute information regarding pop-up events with free gadgets! The game starts on July 4th 2018 at 20h and ends July 9th 2018 at 10h, only for visitors of the Balaton festival.

Once subscribed, you will be activated and receive your water gun on the bus trip or at the Belgian Invasion Camping on July 4th. After activation, you and your friends can form a team. Once the game begins, the app shows your three personal targets to eliminate. These targets are random other participants who don’t belong to your team. Elimination only happens on the festival terrain by using the distributed water guns to spray water onto the target. After each elimination, you take a (crazy) selfie within the app with your target to officialize the crime.

The main goal: perform as many eliminations as possible and win your complete trip to Balaton for next year!

Gatherings are daily small pop-up events organized at random spots on the festival terrain where it will be easier to get close to your targets and eliminate them. Exact hours and locations will be communicated in the app. Expect nice gadgets or free drinks at each gathering.

You can earn coins by attending gatherings and use these for several power-ups. Other ways to earn coins are:

* By opening the app each day. The longer the streak, the more coins you get!

* Eliminating people. Each elimination yields coins!

With coins you can buy several power-ups like

* Extra time to commit an elimination before you are automatically eliminated for being passive for too long

* Substitute your target: change your hard-to-find target for a new, random target
