Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)

GAP is created by KALRO with support from GIZ

The Food Security Project (FSP) is a bilateral programme German Development Cooperation (GDC) programme implemented by GIZ and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries on behalf of Germany and Kenya Governments respectively.

The GAP mobile app provide users a quick and effective reference for selected crops. The key practices include: inputs, site selection, land preparation, post harvesting and marketing, water management, conservation agriculture, climate smart agriculture and sustainable agriculture.
