I wrote this app because i had some problems with my Motorola Razr i & my Wifi network @ home with mysms. Google Cloud Messaging delayed some messages to my sleeping mobile while it was connected to Wifi.

This app should work around this issue. Keep in mind that the app is in a early stage of development. Detection of best interval for your setup needs to improved. It also can be that the app uses a bit more battery than without. On my device it's not the case.

The issue in general depends on your mobile and your router. It can be that a mobile is working while another one isn't working on the same router. Also a mobile can work with a router while it's not working with another router. Confused? yeah, it's complicated.

It works for met at least for my favorite app "mysms", but it should also fix the issue for other apps that use GCM (Gmail, WhatsApp, MightyText, ....).
