About Gameboy Cart Tool (lsdj, EMS)

Read/write Gameboy saves from your EMS flash cartridge via USB. Great for LSDJ!

Current Features (version 2.1.11):

Backup and restore your LSDJ chiptunes or your 'pocket monster' saves on the go!

Easily transfer saves between your android emulator and your real Gameboy using either a Drag'n'Derp or EMS flash cart.

Free with NO Ads!

•LSDJ song manager built-in (long-press on song list after loading a compatible SRAM or .sav file to import/export .lsdsng files). Useful even you use only an emulator and no real cartridges.

•Supports Gameboy Original/Pocket/Light and Gameboy Color...

•Support for Drag'n'Derp cartridges by navigating to the cart storage via the file buttons

•Read/Write SRAM from .sav file or EMS 64M usb smart cards

•Read/Write ROM from .gb or .gbc file or EMS 64M usb smart cards

•Japanese language (probably full of mistakes though...)

Instructions:

To write SRAM to an EMS cart

1) Navigate to the SRAM screen

2) Tap the "Read from file" button and select the desired .sav file

3) Plug in your EMS cart using a USB-OTG adapter and mini-usb cable.

4) Tap the menu button then tap "Detect USB Device"

5) If asked, grant permission for access to the usb device.

6) Tap "Write to cart"

7) Tap OK to overwrite cart data and wait for it to finish

To read SRAM from an EMS cart

1) Navigate to the SRAM screen

2) Plug in your EMS cart using a USB-OTG adapter and mini-usb cable.

3) Tap the menu button then tap "Detect USB Device"

4) If asked, grant permission for access to the usb device.

5) Tap "Read from cart" and wait for reading to finish.

6) Tap "Write to file" and choose a new or existing .sav file to save to.
