About Game Theory 101

Game theory made easy. An introduction to game theory.

What is game theory? Why should we study it? Game Theory 101 is a free introductory course where you will get an introduction to game theory basics.

Over the course of the next few dozen videos, we will learn about strict dominance, iterated elimination of strictly dominated strategies, pure strategy Nash equilibrium, mixed strategy Nash equilibrium, the mixed strategy algorithm, weak dominance, backward induction, sub game perfect equilibrium, comparative statics, and more.

Don't worry about math prerequisites--as long as you have minimal experience with high school algebra, you will be able to grasp the first 95% of the course. Game theory is logically demanding, but its mathematics is mostly straightforward. And after all it’s an introduction to game theory.

* WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THIS COURSE ON UDEMY *

"This is an easy to understand introduction for beginners. It's easy on the maths (at least compared to other options) and he errs on the side of providing more, rather than less explanation whenever there is the possibility of confusion. The book is also very well written."

-(Stephen Gaukrodger) ★★★★★

"I just think the concept of game theory is interesting and just pretty awesome. Also, I like how this course is structured and flows from topic to the next. That is why I give it a 5 star rating"

-(Avaughn Prendergast) ★★★★★

“William does an excellent job introducing this topic and providing numerous resources. It's amazing this is a free course. People who think they would like to become an entrepreneur, but who would first like to learn more about what entrepreneurship is all about”

-(Brendon Ferullo)★★★★★
