Galleries’ Night invites you to walk along two-night “ARTracks”

Started in 2013, Galleries’ Night is a highlight of the cultural season in Bangkok year after year for a larger audience of the curious and art lovers. This 7th edition of Galleries’ Night 2020 in Bangkok will last two nights for more than 70 galleries and will turn the City of Angels into a full contemporary art platform from 5 pm till late. Discover galleries all night along the two BTS lines:

Silom Line, Sathorn and riverside on Friday, February 14

Sukhumvit Line on Saturday, February 15

Many galleries special events ; opening receptions, talks, performances, screenings and more. Galleries’ Night will also be opening up a special platform with activities for children, young people and families during the afternoon of Saturday 15th February from 2 pm. These activities will promote the introduction to contemporary art, held at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).

The audience is invited to go from one gallery to another by 30 dedicated Tuktuks that will travel through specific routes. Moreover, this year there is a special project of a mobile gallery inside the tuktuks created by Liv_id that will light up your experience during the journey. Of course, audiences can also take public transportation as well as walking to access each gallery.

With Mobile Application Galleries’ Night, you can find all the information : maps, schedules of the exhibitions and the special events organised by the galleries and art spaces for Galleries’ Night Bangkok.

We will also have a special printed Map which will include a Map of all the participating galleries and brief details of the exhibitions and special events. This Map will be available for free at all the participating galleries. This year Galleries’ Night Bangkok will once again have volunteers at each gallery and art space to help and provide useful information to visitors.
