Fridge Magnet Letters+Numbers is an educational app for your child to help them become comfortable with using and recognising letters, numbers, words and the alphabet, and it helps with both maths and spelling! Fridge Magnet does not contain ads or any in-app purchases.

Suitable for children of any age, but particularly suited to toddlers and children aged around 2-6 years. This includes children in nursery and reception year in the UK. In the US, Fridge Magnet Letters+Numbers will help children meet the Common Core Standards for English Language at Kindergarten level. A great tool to stimulate creativity in nurseries and classrooms.

HOW TO USE FRIDGE MAGNET

Simply move the colourful letters around by dragging them around the screen. You can easily add new letters or numbers of your choice, make capital letters, and add punctuation, maths symbols or accents. If you've made a word or got a simple maths expression right, a tick is shown and a rewarding piano chord played! (the sound, dictionary and maths checks can be turned off if you prefer).

Shake your device to drop the letters back to the bottom of the screen, or clear the screen completely from the option in the menu and just add letters they know or for a name or word they're practising. Have fun teaching simple letter recognition and word formation with your child! When your little one produces a work of genius (their name?), share it by email or your favourite messaging app, or by QR code with another device running Fridge Magnet.

DESIGNED FOR TABLETS AND PHONES

Fridge Magnet is designed to work both on smaller devices such as phones as well as larger devices such as tablets, and uses a simple clean design and side menu which you can easily reach by swiping from the left of the screen.

DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN (WHO PRESS BUTTONS BY MISTAKE)

Having personal experience of how young children use smartphones and tablets, we've included a special Child Mode, which tries to limit the damage they can do to your device, and stop the need for them to ask for help every few minutes because they've pressed the Back button or opened a menu they didn't mean to! Child Mode disables all functions except a few ones necessary for you to take control of your phone afterwards. The home key will continue to function as normal.

AD-FREE. ALWAYS

We also believe strongly that children shouldn't be bombarded with ads, and accidentally pressing on ads often upsets and interrupts the enjoyment of using apps for children - so you will never find any ads in Fridge Magnet. There are also no in-app purchases (we know what can happen with kids and those...)
