Improve your knowledge of French and develop your vocabulary with this fast-moving app. Not only will you increase your vocabulary, but you’ll increase your understanding of the words by linking each word to TEXT, IMAGE and SOUND. There are 26 sets of exercises on a range of topics including : ANIMAUX, BUREAU, CALENDRIER, COULEURS, ÉCOLE, EN FRANÇAIS ON DIT, FAMILLE, MAISON, MANGER ET BOIRE, MÉTÉO, MÉTIERS ET PROFESSIONS, MUSIQUE, PRÉNOMS, SPORTS, TRANSPORT, VÊTEMENTS and more.
Each theme contains a variety of matching activities: audio to text, text to image, text to text. The repeated, triple association is what gives VOCABULAIRE activities their richness and depth. Hints are provided. The practice sessions result in easy mastery of new words and phrases. Fast-moving and fun!

FRANCOFONE consists of three apps that will help you improve your French and increase your knowledge of “la Francophonie” cultures. Our three multimedia apps, VOCABULAIRE (this app), LANGUE and CULTURE, each offers a variety of themes and activities for which several types of help, such as clues and audio, are available. FRANCOFONE - LANGUE will help improve knowledge of the French language and FRANCOFONE - CULTURE will help improve your knowledge of French culture around the world.
INTENDED AUDIENCES: All who love French language and culture: French as a Second (or Foreign) Language students, self-directed learners and home schoolers.
AGE: 18+. Some parts will appeal to younger learners.
LEVEL: Some knowledge of French is recommended. Everyone can work through VOCABULAIRE (except EN FRANÇAIS ON DIT which is designed for advanced learners). Most LANGUE and CULTURE activities require that you be at the intermediate level.
