Simple, no-frills app for identifying hundreds of common trees in North America.

FindATree is a simple, no-frills app that can help you identify many common trees in North America (mainly focusing on areas east of the Rocky Mountains). You will be asked to choose among descriptions of the tree, its leaves, or its bark, until you have given enough information for the tree to be identified. A picture of every tree is included!

Please note that identification may be impossible in the winter, since many of a tree's identifying characteristics are found in its leaves.

The app does not require internet access, and can be used on both phones and tablets.
