Fathul Baari Syarah Sahih Al-Bukhari is the phenomenal work of Imam Ibn Hajar Al-Atsqolani. This book of Fathul Bari is the best and most complete book of Syarah / explanation of Shahih Bukhori. This book is so phenomenal as well as prestigious, illustrating how brilliant the compilers are. This book is very useful for Muslims not only because its content is quite comprehensive but because of the author's intelligence in analyzing the contents of a hadith.

In this book, Ibn Hajar explains the problems of lughoh / language and i'rob, and outlines important issues not found in other books, also explains from the side of balaghoh and literature, takes laws, and describes various issues debated by scholars, Both concerning fiqh and ushul fiqh are in detail impartial.

Besides that, he also collected all the hadiths and researched them.

Fathul Bari has a muqodimah entitled Haydus Saari, this muqodimah is of very high value, because it is the key to understanding Sahih Al-Bukhori. This book was completed starting in 817 -842 H, almost twenty-five years.

Al-Imam Muhammad bin Ali As Sanani Asy-Syaukani (w 1255 H) the author of the Book of Nailul Authar, once wrote a book to teach Shahih Bukhori, and he greatly admired Imam Ibn Hajar, then he also quoted a hadith: La Hijrah badal fathi (There is no Migration after the conquest of Mecca), he uses this hadith as an expression that there is no book of Syahi Bukhori's Syarah that exceeds this Fathul Baari.
