"Impressions of a trip to America" ​​brings together the memories of the Spanish writer Jose Maria Gutierrez de Alba, who lives in Colombia between 1870 and 1884. The manuscript, now kept by the Biblioteca Luis Angel Arango, is comprised of ten large volumes, illustrated with 466 watercolors, drawings, photographs and lithographs. The text is the memory of the trip by Colombia in the nineteenth century largest known, and illustrations are the most voluminous picturesque collection we have today.
