Grupo Enxuto was founded in Campinas in 1963 by João Batista Gonçalves who began to resell the rice he bought in bulk, called "Arroz Enxuto". With sales success, in 1967 he founded Cerealista Alvorada to operate in the dry and wet area, where it sold approximately one hundred different items. The company grew and in 1973 the first supermarket called Enxuto was inaugurated, in Campinas, with a sales area of ​​200 square meters, soon expanded to 420 square meters.

Since then, Enxuto Supermercados has prospered and, in addition to Campinas, is present in Cosmópolis, Limeira, Piracicaba and Rio Claro.

In 2018, the group launched a new banner: Enxuto Aqui, which combines the best of digital experience and humanized service in a smart and customized superconvenience store, physical and digital, inside containers. The banner's proposal is to meet emergency supermarket purchases, with selected products in order to supply consumers' homes with practical and quick items, with a very diversified mix.
