‘EN1 Neuro’ is a Child Neurology Centre situated in Kanakia Zillion, BKC Annexe, Mumbai and has been offering multidisciplinary, comprehensive services in child neurology and neurodevelopmental disorders for past 5 years, by a team of child neurologist, geneticist, developmental paediatrician; physio, occupational and speech therapist, child psychologist and remedial educator. Services offered are consultations, therapies, counselling, remediation and neurophysiological/ psychoeducational test under one roof.

We see various neurological disorders like epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism, learning disorders and rarer neurogenetic disorders.

Epilepsy is characterized by recurrent unprovoked seizures due to abnormal electrical activity in the brain. Diagnosis is made by pediatric neurologist and supported by EEG. Long term, regular treatment cures most children. Associated comorbidities may need psychologist or therapist.

Neurogenetic Disorders are caused by changes in genes or chromosomes, and need a neurologist, geneticist and genetic tests.

Cerebral Palsy is a disorder of movement caused by brain injury at birth. These children can have associated seizures, and hearing, vision or intellectual difficulties. Treatment is by a team of neurologist and therapists.

Autism is characterized by difficulties in social interaction, communication &repetitive behavior. The treatment is intensive & long-term therapy offered by a team of occupational, speech and behavioral therapist.

Learning Disorders occurs due to difficulty in reading, writing or maths and results in poor school performance despite normal intelligence. They are diagnosed by developmental pediatrician/neurologist, confirmed by psychoeducational tests and treated by counselling and long-term remediation.

Dr. Neeta Naik is a Pediatric Neurologist, In charge and Director of the center with 30 years of experience. Her special interest is Childhood Epilepsy.

Dr. Ami Shah is a Consultant Pediatric Geneticist with 5 years of experience and a Clinical Associate. Her special interest is Neurogenetics.

Dr. Mary Kuttikadan is a Developmental Pediatrician with 5 years of experience. Her special interest is Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness.

Dr. Hetal Dave is an Occupational Therapist with 5 years of experience. She has further certification in Autism, Sensory Processing Disorders and Communication Disorders.

Dr. Sana Yusuf is an Occupational Therapist with 5 years of experience. Her special interest is Cerebral Palsy and Intellectual Disability.

Dr. Nazrin Ansari is an Occupational Therapist with 5 years of experience. Her special interest is ADHD and Autism.

Dr. Aakanksha Jalwal is physiotherapist with 10 years of experience with a special interest in cerebral palsy and motor disorders in children.

Upasana Bhardwaj is a clinical psychologist with a special interest in counselling for behavioral disorders in children and remediation in learning disorders.

Faiza Choudhary is a clinical psychologist, with a special interest in developmental therapy for autism.

Puja Popalghat is a speech therapist trained in communication, fluency and articulation and other speech disorders.

Ketaki Madav is a clinical psychologist and remedial educator.

Testing: All tests are performed by trained professional by appointments.

EEG (Electro Encephalo Grapy

NCV, VEP, SSEP are other neurophysiogical tests performed for neuromuscular or neurometabolic disorders.

OAE (Oto Acoustic Emission) & BERA are screening and confirmatory tests for hearing in children respectively.

Psychoeducational Testing like Autism battery (VSSMS/CARS/ISSA/ATEC); Academic battery (BKT/MISIC /ADHDt/Van der Built/WRAT/DTLD); Emotional Battery (CAT/ DAP/HTP/SSCT); Depression and Anxiety battery are performed as battery or individually in children with developmental, behavioral or academic difficulties.
